El Vaquero
What a week we had with traveling to being in Chicago from Sunday to Wednesday. But being Friday again, it’s time again for the regular series of Dining with Dad. This week’s decision was fairly easy as this was the place we were planning on visiting last time when we made the impromptu decision to instead go to Flanagans. We had wanted to mix up our food ethnicity and hadn’t went to any Mexican restaurants yet.
This was one of our comfort choices. I say that in that we’ve been here before, in fact, many times. Sometimes it’s nice not to experiment with a new unknown and just head to a place you know you like, and in fact, probably have a menu item that you get every time you go. In fact, that’s the very case with me. Their menu is rather large and everything has numbers. It may be a bit down the menu, but I’ll definitely recommend looking for #171 El Morro Special. There’s just something about chorizo and pineapple that pair perfectly!!
I think the week that we had simply exhausted me. Or at least that’s going to be my excuse as I simply enjoyed my time and forgot to take any pictures!! As you can see from the one above, we had already dug into the chips before taking that picture. We’ll have to go back sometime so you can enjoy the pictures of some of the menu items we select. At least I did get one of Chloe and I, which is always better than any food!
