Welcome

Chloe, Alex, and I (Kevin Kendall) would like to welcome you to our new blog, Dining with Dad. We started 2021 with a bit of adversity and wanted an outlet to help take our minds off of what was going on in our lives. I unfortunately only get to be with my children every other week. For this reason, I wanted to try to create memories for Alex and Chloe during our time together. Out of this, the Dining with Dad tradition was born.

Our first week as a trio, I decided to take them out to eat to a restaurant near our new house. None of us had been to this restaurant before so we were all excited to try something new. As we sat there waiting on our entree’s to be brought to us, an idea began to form.

We decided that every other week, we would go explore a new restaurant that they had never been to, with maybe a few favorite repeats thrown in. The title for this tradition was a no brainer, as we would call this “Dining with Dad”. The idea grew further, as we decided that we would also start a blog to document our adventures. We hope you enjoy reading about the places we go.
