When trying to decide this week’s Dining with Dad, I took a look at the weather and saw 100% rain. Not being a fan of driving too far in the rain I was trying to think of someplace close and a cuisine that we hadn’t had in a while. I quickly thought of Eagles Pizza which I had put on my list a long time ago of places I wanted to try and now was the time!

We walked in through the front door since we were out front grabbing the traditional outside picture. Most people seem to enter through the side door off the parking lot. We walked up to the counter to see if it was a seat yourself kind of place. It is and you order up at the counter so we went and found an open booth. We pulled up the menu on our phones to figure out what everyone wanted.

Chloe had pizza for lunch so she wasn’t in the mood for much pizza, but did ask if she could have some if Alex and I got some. She decided on the spaghetti dinner. This came with a salad, roll, and two meatballs. She was really enjoying the spaghetti and kind of forgot about the meatballs sitting there. I asked her if she was going to eat them, mainly because I wanted to try them. She took a bite of one of them and I instantly wondered if they had peas in them! The look on her face was one of horror! I told her to spit it into a napkin and kept asking what was wrong. Luckily it wasn’t any allergic reaction, it was just that bad tasting to her! Of course I had to taste these meatballs to see what the fuss was about. I actually liked them and ate them both!

I was waiting on Alex to decide what he wanted as I knew I wanted pizza. I was hoping he would too so that we could split one. He hem hawed around for a while trying to decide and finally came up with a custom pizza that was nearly identical to the All the Way pizza so I talked him into getting that. I never can predict which size to get but leftovers don’t suck, so we went with the larger 14″ pizza. Needless to say there was plenty of leftovers and the pizza was delicious. There was so many toppings, the forks came in handy to pick up all the ones that dropped onto the plate.

All the Way
